Our Mission

Our mission at Banksia Farm is simple:

"To promote the genus "Banksia" and be recognised as the premier world destination for Banksia plants, flowers, artifacts and knowledge."

Company Profile

Banksia Farm is an interpretative retreat for tourists, wildflower enthusiasts, botanists, Banksia lovers and students alike.  It boasts the Worlds Only Full Collection of all Banksia Species growing on our property.  Most of these are well established specimens and many have flowered.

Banksia Farm's 5 hectares of well established display gardens were established in the late 1980's and are located in Mount Barker (3.5hrs South of Perth).  It provides a unique one-stop-shop for wildflower enthusiasts and something just a bit different for the tourist.  Banksia Farm is your chance to see the rare B brownii and even the semitropical B robur.

Banksia Farm has established itself as "The Banksia HUB of Australia" and has hosted many events and special guests.
